About Hektor At Hektor, contemporary art and design meet the charm of an old Canarian farm brought back to life. Situated in the heart of Lanzarote, our farmhouse is a tribute to our favorite things: animals, arts, great stays, and lovely food. We operate a permaculture finca surrounded by terraced lands, where we grow our own fruits and vegetables for our guests. We are also proudly home to a family of rescue animals—including a donkey, three sheep, two pigs, chicken, peacocks, a goose, a duck, cats, and a dog. Above all, Hektor is a safe space for artists, activists, guests, and friends.

The Role We are looking for a dedicated team member to be a breakfast host. This part-time position helps us maintain our unique estate and ensures our guests have a beautiful, welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
Breakfast serving & preparation: Preparing and serving morning meals for our guests.
Food prepping for the day after: Prep our home-made recipes using ingredients straight from our land.
Cleaning kitchen and suites: Keeping our culinary spaces spotless and maintaining our unique, art-filled guest suites.
Finca maintenance and watering: Helping care for our gardens, terraced lands, and outdoor areas.
Candidate Requirements
Language Skills: Fluent in both Spanish and English.
Culinary Skills: Cooking experience is highly important.
Driving License: A valid driving license is required.
Lifestyle: You preferably are vegan.
Selection Procedure
We will begin contacting candidates from June onwards.
The selection process will include a test cooking session based on our farm- and tradition-inspired recipes.
