Walks & hikes in Lanzarote (1)

We have collected some of our favorite walks & hikes in Lanzarote on our Wikiloc page. Here’s.a short summary of each of them.

From Los Valles to Ermita de las Nieves (and back)

This walk takes you from the valleys of Los Valles through a canyon full of local plants to Ermita de las Nieves. You'll have great views on Famara, but as well on the east coast of Lanzarote. This loop has some steep climbs, but is generally quite easy to do.

El Cuchillo

This walk takes you from the dessert behind El Cuchillo up on the rim of this old volcano. It's an easy walk with some height meters, which gaves you great views on Famara an Timanfaya. Be careful: as you walk on the rim, you might want to walk with moderate wind.

El Bosquecillo - Risco de Famara

El Bosquicillo is a hidden gem for a quick walk. This back and forth trail starts at the park and takes you from the amazing views over Famara to great shots of Haria and Playa Risco. As this is a beaten track, it's an easy walk to do.

Monte Corona

This back & forth track to the rims of Monte Corona is a perfect morning walk: you'll enjoy the sunlight breaking through on the mountain's side as well as seeing the sun rise above the see on the lava coast in the north of this island.
